Ice Day

Ice Day 2025 will be held on February 9.

In efforts to prepare for Ice Day, the ice was found to not be safe.  Therefore, ice harvesting will not be happening on the lake but all events will be taking place at the farm as scheduled.

Here’s a peek at our usual event…

Gather the family, bundle up and share a New England tradition at Kezar Lake and Muster Field Farm Museum. The ice cutting is done by a gas powered saw and is finished by hand by volunteers. Harvested ice is loaded by our ice block fulcrum onto wagons and vehicles, then hauled to the Farm. Our Ice House, c.1890, will be fully stacked with block ice for use at our summer events. Enjoy warmth and refreshments in Ryder Corner School House, c.1810.

Admission is free. Ice cutting begins at Kezar Lake at 9:00 am, the event concludes when all the ice is in the Ice House at Muster Field Farm Museum.

June Jam

June Jam will be held on June 21, 2025.

Muster Field Farm Museum’s annual musical fundraiser features an exciting line-up of local folk, blues, jazz, and rock musicians. Burgers, hot dogs, snacks, & beverages are available or pack your own picnic to enjoy.

Gate opens at 3:30, music begins at 4:00. Tickets are $20 per person and are available on site the day of the event (children under 14 are free).
